Accountant - E-Invoicing

As a Jr. Accountant at Suryagroup, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain daily accounting entries and transactions using Tally software.
• Prepare and process Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) filings, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify and balance financial records.
• Handle online banking operations, including processing payments and transfers via Net Banking.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized financial documentation and records.
• Support senior accounting staff with various financial tasks and special projects.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• Proficiency in using Tally accounting software is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS regulations and compliance.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with Net Banking and conducting bank reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
