Accountant - E-Invoicing

As a Trainee Accountant, you will be instrumental in supporting our clients across various accounting functions. This two-year contractual role is designed for immediate joiners who are eager to commit to a rigorous learning path and contribute significantly from day one. Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Performing bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate financial records through meticulous bookkeeping practices.
• Processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, managing invoices, and ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Supporting the general ledger (GL) functions, including journal entries and month-end closing procedures.
• Collaborating with senior accountants and team leads to resolve complex accounting issues and improve processes.
• Learning and adapting to various international accounting standards and client-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of progressive accounting experience, ideally gained within a professional accounting firm or a relevant corporate environment.
• Proven experience in key accounting areas such as GST, TDS, Reconciliation, Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger operations.
• Possession of a B.Com degree or CA/CMA Inter qualification is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for interacting with internal teams and global clients.
• Must be an immediate joiner, available to commence work in early July. Candidates with existing notice periods will not be considered.
• Ability to work effectively in an in-office environment across our Noida, Ahmedabad, or Mumbai locations.
• Flexibility to work UK shift timings, which will involve evening shifts in IST.
