Accountant - E-Invoicing

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice and Challan Management: Accurately prepare and manage all sales invoices and delivery challans, ensuring prompt and precise billing for services rendered.
• Transaction Recording: Systematically record all purchase entries and diligently update expense vouchers, maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date record of financial transactions.
• Receivables and Payables Oversight: Monitor and generate daily reports on accounts receivables and payables, providing critical insights into the company's financial liquidity and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Payment Recovery Initiatives: Proactively engage in follow-up activities for payment recovery, effectively managing client communications to ensure outstanding dues are collected efficiently.
• Comprehensive Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous and organized documentation and record-keeping for all aspects related to accounts, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) compliance.
• Document Serialization Assurance: Ensure the proper implementation and rigorous maintenance of document serializations, critical for audit trails and regulatory compliance.
• Reconciliation Reporting: Prepare comprehensive customer reconciliation reports on a regular basis and submit weekly updates to the Branch Manager, highlighting discrepancies and resolutions.
• Expense and Payment Processing: Efficiently process all expense vouchers and payments, adhering strictly to company policies and financial guidelines to ensure accuracy and authorization.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree from a recognized university is essential.
• Experience Level: Possess 0-2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance-related role. Freshers with a strong academic background and enthusiasm for accounting are highly encouraged to apply.
• Accounting Fundamentals: A solid understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger operations.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Indian taxation, specifically GST and IGST compliance requirements, is a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and report generation is a must. Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally) would be a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all financial records and transactions.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
