As a key member of our operations team, the Refund Operations Trainee will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and accurate refund processes for our students. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations while providing excellent support through inbound and outbound communication. This role is perfect for freshers and recent graduates looking to make a tangible impact and develop a strong foundation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify customer bank details meticulously and efficiently process refund requests through a combination of inbound and outbound calls.
• Monitor and track refund Turnaround Times (TATs), actively following up on pending cases to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Accurately calculate refund amounts based on established policies and thoroughly verify all supporting documents provided by students.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive records of all refund transactions and related communications in our systems.
• Prepare basic Management Information System (MIS) reports to support operational analysis and decision-making for the Refund Operations team.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve complex refund inquiries and streamline operational workflows.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and regulatory guidelines pertaining to refund processing and data privacy.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hindi to interact effectively with students and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in basic MS Excel for data entry, record keeping, and generating simple reports.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and documentation.
• A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Must possess a personal laptop for work-from-home operations.
