Data Analyst Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern who is passionate about working with data, solving business problems, and turning raw information into meaningful insights.

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work with real-world business data and gain hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, data visualization, data cleaning, and business analytics. You will collaborate with product, business, marketing, and technology teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data from databases.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preprocessing using Excel and Python.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities from data.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc business reports.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and summarize findings.
• Work with different teams to understand business requirements and analytical problems.
• Track key business and product metrics.
• Assist in developing automated reports and recurring analytical workflows.
• Present analytical findings in a simple and understandable manner.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, documentation, and reporting standards.

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
• Basic knowledge of Python for Data Analysis.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and basic data visualization is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development.
• Understanding of data cleaning, data validation, and data analysis.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and analytical concepts.
• Good problem-solving and logical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly.
