Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable backend systems using Golang.
• Contribute to solving complex technical challenges, focusing on performance optimization, concurrency management, and system reliability.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement and integrate real-time features using WebSockets.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database management and Redis for caching solutions to ensure high performance.
• Participate in containerization efforts and deployment processes using Docker.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across various environments, ensuring smooth operation of our services.
• Actively engage in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions to improve system design.

Requirements

• A strong foundational understanding of backend development principles and computer science fundamentals.
• Familiarity with or a strong desire to learn Golang is essential.
• Exposure to or interest in our core tech stack, including Gin, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, and Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Possession of a portfolio showcasing relevant projects (e.g., GitHub contributions, personal projects) is highly encouraged.
• Must be available for a minimum duration of 2 months, starting in October, for an on-site role in Bangalore.
